This spark module controls surface-burner ignition on gas ranges and cooktops. It generates the high-voltage pulses that light the flame when you turn a knob, restoring fast, reliable burner lighting and eliminating constant clicking.

  • Sends high-voltage pulses to the burner igniters when a surface knob is turned to ignite the flame
  • Coordinates sparking for multiple surface burners
  • Failure symptoms can include no spark on all burners, intermittent or weak sparking, or continuous clicking even with flames present
