The Dryer Drum Felt Seal is an OEM part for Whirlpool dryers. This seal ensures a tight fit between the dryer drum and the rear bulkhead, preventing air leaks and maintaining proper drum alignment during the drying cycle. The seal measures approximately 36 inches in length and 1 inch in width. Please note, adhesive for installation is not included.

This rubber rear drum seal fits the dryer drum opening and helps keep the drum centered while reducing air leaks and preventing lint and fabric from getting between the drum and bulkhead for quieter, more efficient drying. What it does:

• Seals the gap between the dryer drum and bulkhead to maintain proper airflow.
• Cushions the drum edge to prevent metal-on-metal contact and reduce noise.
• Worn or torn seals can cause rubbing, squeaking, banging, excess vibration, or longer dry times.
• Visible gaps, shredded rubber, or lint buildup at the drum edge are common signs the seal needs replacement.

• Disconnect electrical power (and shut off gas supply for gas dryers) before starting any repair.
