Description

This secondary gas valve solenoid coil energizes the dryer's gas valve so the burner can ignite and stay lit. Replacing a weak or failed coil restores consistent heat and helps resolve intermittent no-heat or flame drop-out issues. What it does:

• Works with the companion coil to open and hold the gas valve during burner operation
• A weak/open coil can cause tumbling with no heat
• Burner lights then goes out within seconds or heats intermittently
• Repeated clicking or glowing igniter without flame

• 1 secondary gas valve solenoid coil

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off gas supply before servicing
• Access the burner/gas valve assembly; note wire positions and remove the old coil/retainer
• Seat the new coil on the valve stem, secure the retainer, and reconnect wiring firmly
• Restore gas and power; run a test cycle and check for leaks
