Description

This kit replaces the washer's pump and its belt on Model M designs, restoring dependable water removal and belt-driven operation. Install it to address leaks, seized pumps, or a worn/broken belt causing drain or spin complaints.
  • Moves wash water out of the tub during drain cycles via the replacement pump
  • Replaces the belt that drives the pump in belt-driven systems
  • Can help with symptoms such as won't drain, slow draining, leaks at the pump, belt squeal, or a burned-rubber smell
  • Restores smooth belt-to-pulley operation when the original pump is binding or the belt is frayed/broken
What's included: 1 pump and 1 belt
  • Disconnect power and water supplies before servicing; allow the unit to cool
  • Place towels or a catch pan; clamp hoses before removing the pump to limit spills
  • Note belt routing; install the new belt on clean, oil-free pulleys and alignment
  • After installation, check for leaks and proper drain operation
