Description

Idler lever spring (with silencer) restores proper tension to the dryer idler assembly so the drive belt tracks and runs smoothly. Replacing a worn or broken spring can reduce noise and help prevent belt slippage. What it does:
  • Provides tension to the idler lever so the drive belt maintains correct tracking.
  • Helps prevent belt slipping that can cause uneven drum rotation or failure to tumble.
  • Can reduce squealing, thumping, or rattling coming from the idler/drive area.
  • Works as the replacement tension spring for the idler lever assembly when the original is damaged or lost.
