This part is a grill element that is used on a cooktop. The element is responsible for supplying heat to the cooking area of the cooktop. If the element is not lighting up orange or red when it is turned on, it will need to be replaced. This part may need to be replaced over time due to normal wear and tear on the appliance. Some users may also notice that the element is not heating evenly or works intermittently. If this is the case, this is a genuine OEM replacement part that is made out of high-quality materials. Unplug the range from the electrical outlet and allow the cooktop ample time to cool down before trying to replace it.
