Knob Assembly (Range Control), Single

This replacement knob assembly restores tactile control for a range or oven control shaft so you can select cook settings easily and safely. It replaces a cracked, loose, or missing control knob to regain reliable adjustment. What it does:

  • Fits onto the range/oven control shaft to set burner or oven temperature and functions
  • Replaces knobs that are cracked, stripped, loose, or difficult to turn
  • Helps restore accurate user input for heating and timer selections
  • Works with standard splined control shafts used on many GE ranges
What's included: One knob assembly. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power (and gas supply if applicable) before starting any work
  • Pull off the old knob; align splines and push the replacement knob straight onto the control shaft
  • If knob is stiff after installation, remove and re-seat to ensure proper spline engagement
  • If mounting hardware, trim, or control shaft is damaged, replace those parts as needed for a secure fit
