Peter T Houston , TX October 31, 2015 Appliance: Model DMOS200 Viking microwave turntable stopped turning model dmos200 Removed microwave from wall: - remove surround bracket with 4 screws and then microwave just lifts out Loosened bottom of Microwave, pried open and replaced motor: - removed 10 Phillips screws holding bottom of microwave -Removed 2 Phillips screws on each side of microwave holding cover -Needed to remove 2 locked torx screws on back that hold cover, but did not have tool. -Since cover would not come off (did not have tool), I pried the bottom open from the front edge of the microwave and had reasonably easy access to the one screw holding the motor -Replaced motor and re-assembled. Worked great, though the side cover is slightly bent due to my inability to remove the locked torx screws. It is in the wall, so nobody will every know.
