Weedeater Edger Ignition Controls

This genuine replacement ignition module is part of the starting system in select models of gas string trimmer/edger units. It connects the spark plug to the engine and supplies the electric current to generate the spark for ignition. In the event that the module wears out or becomes defective, the engine may fail to start. With a faulty ignition module, it will be difficult to operate equipment if it works at all, which is why an immediate replacement with an OEM part like this is necessary. This genuine OEM ignition module is manufactured by Husqvarna and compatible with select trimmers from Poulan, Weed Eater, and Husqvarna. This unit includes the ignition module, the rubberized wire, and the spark plug boot or cap. Hardware and other components are not included. It may be a good idea to replace the spark plug when replacing the ignition module if it has not been replaced recently. Be sure to wear gloves and allow the engine to cool before doing any repairs on the ignition or other engine components. Be sure to disconnect the power supply before beginning any repairs for safety, as well.
