Weedeater Lawn Mower Spindle

This is a genuine OEM mandrel kit with a nut that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is designed for use on lawnmowers, tractors, and other outdoor lawn and garden equipment. The mandrel is responsible for spinning the blades on lawn mowers. It is part of the deck and can be a safety issue if not properly attached or if broken. If the spindle is broken or bent during use, it is apparent by uneven cutting, loud squealing, or vibrations, and buzzing sound. Mandrel replacement should be on a flat service for safety. If the mower is hot, allow it to cool before making repairs. Remove the spark plug and empty the gas tank. If the deck on the mower is removable, remove it before jacking the mower up. Once the mower is in the air, remove the blades to access the spindle. Remove the spindle. This is an excellent time to check the bearings and replace them if needed. Install the new spindle. Reinstall the blades. Lower the mower and if the deck was removed, reinstall the deck. This no grease mandrel assembly is the part that houses the shaft where the mower blade attaches. It is mounted to the deck of the mower by three bolts, which are sold separately. The mounting holes on the mandrel housing are not threaded, but the bolts used to secure the mandrel to the deck are self-tapping. If the lawnmower is no longer providing an even cut, there may be a problem with the mandrel assembly. A broken or damaged mandrel assembly can severely reduce the mower's cutting performance. Replace it as soon as possible. The mandrel shaft goes through the deck, and the pulleys are attached to them, then the belt that drives the mandrels is placed in the pulleys. A spacer must be installed under the pulley. Failing to use a spacer or installing it on top of the pulley will result in damage to the shaft and pulley.
