Whirlpool WP33001764 Dryer Door Hinge Cover OEM Part

Removed door, front cover and top of dryer. Removed tub and replaced tub belt and reassembled. Only problem was remembering how to reassemble.

I had already broken down (took apart) my dryer one other time to replace some parts and did this again to install a new blower wheel fan and the repairs/replacement went well knowing full well that when I had the dryer apart last time around and knew of the slight break in the old blower wheel--I should of ordered a new part for this then!!!

Have a Maytag Neptune dryer that is about 18 years old. Has worked fine up til now. All of a sudden the drum was not spinning. Great. Is it worth the expense of a service call? Watched an on line video of how to disassemble a Maytag Neptune. Looked inside mine and found a broken belt. Ordered an OEM belt and followed instructions in another video of how to install a belt and reassemble dryer. Vacuumed the dust out of the frame, cleaned the inside of the drum with some scratch free cleaner and replaced the light bulb that burned out years ago while I was waiting for the belt to be delivered. Now it runs like new for a couple bucks out of pocket. Good low cost repair.

Purchased new one and disassembled dryer and replaced broken part.

Thankfully for the awesome tutorial videos, I was able to take apart the machine, diagnose the suspect screeching noise, order the new parts with the helpful link and fix it!
