Whirlpool WP40113601 Drum Roller Axle OEM Part

Replaced the tension pulley assembly, drum rollers, drum roller axles, belt, and drum glides while I had the dryer disassembled. It turned out that the cause of the squeak was the tension pulley assembly, however it was easy and economical enough to replace anything that could have been the cause of the squeaking while I had the dryer apart. The parts were ordered on Thursday afternoon and delivered on Friday. I had the dryer repaired and running like new in no time. For about $100, it was cheaper than calling a service technician who would have charged me that much just to figure out what was wrong with it.

Replaced drum support rollers, dryer belt, and dryer belt tension pulley. I set up an iPad in the washer and followed the awesome step by step videos supplied by APP.

Replaced the drum support rollers, which had separated. The rubber should not move on the center wheel, and the old ones did, which caused the slipping and noise. Since the drum glides and roller axle were worn and etched, we replaced those, too. Now with a thorough cleaning and these new parts, the dryer is quiet as new! Shorter dry time, too - which was a surprise since the time needed for a normal load had lengthened, but gradually, so I hadn't noticed how bad it was - it's great now! We replaced the belt a while back, so that wasn't needed, but I'd recommend anyone taking the machine apart to this extent, go ahead and replace that, too.

Put on new rollers and belt and roller shaft.
