Robert C Flat Rock , MI January 01, 2015 Noisy! taking a long time to dry too! Replaced the drum support rollers, which had separated. The rubber should not move on the center wheel, and the old ones did, which caused the slipping and noise. Since the drum glides and roller axle were worn and etched, we replaced those, too. Now with a thorough cleaning and these new parts, the dryer is quiet as new! Shorter dry time, too - which was a surprise since the time needed for a normal load had lengthened, but gradually, so I hadn't noticed how bad it was - it's great now! We replaced the belt a while back, so that wasn't needed, but I'd recommend anyone taking the machine apart to this extent, go ahead and replace that, too. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
