It was evident that one of the wheels had worn and wasn't turning freely like the other one. The video showed how to remove the roller. Very simple process and now the dryer works just fine. Disassembled dryer, replaced worn parts and reassembled dryer. Removed top cover, disconnected front connector, removed front panel, removed belt from idler pulley, removed washer drum and belt, replaced push clip, retaining clips, 2 support rollers and idler pulley. Kenneth H Newcastle , WY April 21, 2025 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Dryer LER7646EQ2 Very loud screeching noises when the dryer was running Disassembled per video then discovered that the drum support wheels were worn and jammed, plus the drum front seal excessively worn, and rear fabric "gasket" mostly gone. Changed drive belt at same time, since that would be next to fail, most likely. Runs great now. The hardest part surprised me...was gluing the rear drum fabric gasket strip onto the drum.
