I researched what could cause the problem, discovered it most likely was a sensor. I googled the make and model for parts and came across Appliance Parts Pros. Ordered the sensor and decided to also order the water level float lever, since it was next to sensor on the schematics shown on their website. Parts were shipped quickly! My husband had never done anything like this before and the website also gives you videos that show you step by step how to replace the parts. In less than 10 minutes he had the parts replaced and the dishwasher running!!! Appliance Parts Pros will now be my go to before a repairman!!!

I installed lower door seal along with water level switch and lever at switch.

Replaced water level switch and lever that connects switch to water float.

The problem was the Water Level Float. The youtube video from AppliancesPartsPros was great to show how to identify and fix the problem. Even how to test other parts of the system, like the float switch, to isolate the problem.
