Whirlpool 363633 Agitator 15 3/4"White OEM Part

I ordered a new agitator. I used a Dremel tool to clean up the splines on the agitator drive shaft as best I could as they were pretty well rusted away. I purchased J B Weld with a high psi rating. I slipped a rubber water hose washer over the drive shaft and pushed it down to the bottom of the spline. I liberally coated the splines with the J B Weld. The reason for the hose washer was to help keep the J B Weld from oozing out the bottom of the splines as I lowered the agitator onto the shaft. Make sure the agitator hold-down cover remains good and tight. Then I let it cure for 48 hours before operating the washing machine. It's been working perfectly now for more than 4 months. Saved us from having to buy a new washing machine.

Ordered replacement agitator, unbolted the old one and pulled it out, installed the new one.
