Description

This is the mechanical shutoff arm for the ice maker. It lifts to pause ice production when the bin is full and lowers to resume, restoring proper on/off control to help prevent overfilling or a no-ice condition.

• Starts and stops ice production based on arm position (down = on, up = off)
• Replaces a bent, broken, or missing arm to restore proper shutoff function
• Helps address: ice maker won't stop making ice/overfills the bin
• Helps address: ice maker won't make ice because the arm is stuck in the up/off position

What's included: 1 ice maker shutoff arm. Install notes:

• Disconnect power to the refrigerator before servicing
• Remove the ice bin for access; withdraw the old arm from the pivot holes
• Insert the new arm into the ice maker pivot points; ensure smooth up/down movement
• Restore power and verify the arm raises to stop and lowers to start ice making
