Description

Restore proper ice control with this replacement ice maker shut-off arm. It senses the ice level and toggles production—lower to make ice, raised to stop—helping prevent overflow and resolving issues caused by a missing, bent, or broken arm.

• Controls the ice maker's on/off function through the internal shut-off switch
• Raises to stop ice production when the bin is full; lowers to allow ice making
• Common symptoms of a failed arm: keeps making ice/overfilling, won't make ice if stuck "off," or arm won't stay in position
• Direct replacement for a loose, deformed, or missing bail arm

Includes: One ice maker shut-off arm. Install notes:

• Unplug the refrigerator and turn off the water supply before servicing
• Remove the ice bin; removing the ice maker may improve access
• Note spring/anchor hole positions and install the arm in the same orientation without bending it
• After reassembly, the arm moves freely and starts/stops the ice maker when lowered/raised
