Ysidro M Mesa , AZ January 25, 2015 Appliance: Amana Electric Dryer NDE2335AYW Motor ran but drum would not turn dryer motor pulley on motor shaft was stripped i found metal shavings under pulley that is attached to motor shaft Since finding out pulley on motor is factory installed, I had to order a new motor with new pulley on it. I could not remove old blower wheel from old motor, no matter how hard I tried so I had to purchase new blower wheel and new blower housing. I am super happy finding Appliancepartspros.com the prices, and my experience was great! I basically removed everything step by step, and then replaced with the new parts step by step. I had help by watching videos that were provided online before and in between this repair. This is my first time ever even thinking about, let alone attempting to repair my own dryer, but it was actually not too bad, once I figured out the problem, and the new parts that I needed. I thought all three parts would be shipped together, they were shipped separately, and on different days, but customer service was extremely helpful, and overall I highly recommend this online store. Steven S Southport , NC January 18, 2019 Fan was spinning on the hub. I had to cut the fan away from the hub so I could use vice grips to get it loose. Once it broke free it was easy to replace. The dryer is 16 years old, so while I had it torn apart, I decided to replace the drum felt and belt. I did not remove the felt until I had the new ones in hand. Then I discovered that the felt was glued down. So I had to turn around and order some high temperature adhesive. Part suppliers should have a foot note to let the do it youselfer that adhesive is needed so you are not down any longer than needed.
