I purchased the panel, removed 4 screws from the bottom of the panel, 1 screw from each side, remove 4 burner control, 2 screws each, removed the control panel, several color-coded plugs, and 4 screws. installed all in the new panel and reinstalled panel. Joe C Halfway , OR November 10, 2014 Unable to use or set the oven or the clock Replaced the Control Panel, and everything was fully operational! Great assistance with the diagnosis from APP folks, in their forums. Be careful removing the wire connections to the stove burner indicator bulbs, but an easy task. Everything comes apart easily, nothing needs to be forced. Find the screw that hold it together: one on each end, and several underneath. Slide the whole unit out from the counter set-in to access the end screws. Overall a little tedious, but not hard. And certainly more efficient than calling a service person. Read More... Dan H Sharps Chapel , TN May 01, 2017 Jennair downdraft electric range touchpad won't work We actually replaced the control board first which did not solve the problem. Then ordered the control panel which is the entire front ... just 1 ribbon cable connection. 2 screws on the side, 4 hex nuts on the bottom and it tilts out. 4 screws to remove the control panel, unhook the ribbon cable. slide the red indicator light holders to the R or L which allows you to remove the old control panel. Pop out the red indictor buttons and then insert into the new panel and reverse the process. Took us about 10 minutes. All is good ! I had a habit of leaving the oven door open after cooking. No more as I believe that is what damaged the cable on the control panel. Part shipped the day ordered and arrived the 2nd day. Good price, good service. Read More...
