Bao B Fullerton , CA May 26, 2020 Appliance: KitchenAid 6 Qt. Stand Mixer KP26N9XNP5 The worm follower gear was stripped on our Kitchen Aid pro mixer. We took out all of the parts and wiped them down to remove all of the old grease. The parts were reassembled with the new worm follower gear and added new grease. We had a problem because the new worm follower gear didn't slide down all the way easily, so we had to use a rubber mallet to get it all the way down the planetary shaft.
