Description

This planetary assembly is the lower gear hub that spins and orbits the beater/attachments to create full-coverage mixing. Replacing a worn or damaged planetary restores smooth, consistent rotation and helps reduce wobble and grinding noises during operation. What it does:

• Transfers motor power to the beater with true planetary motion for thorough mixing
• Supports and aligns the beater/attachment shaft
• Helps correct issues like a beater that won't turn or stalls under load
• Can reduce unusual grinding or clunking sounds and visible wobble/play at the beater hub

What's included:

• One planetary assembly

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and remove the bowl and beater before starting
• Remove the drip ring/trim and drive out the retaining pin to release the old planetary; note orientation
• Seat and align the new assembly fully, reinstall the retaining pin and trim, then test on low speed
• If the gearcase is opened during service, use only food-grade grease per manufacturer guidance
