David A Stockbridge , MA October 06, 2015 The mixer was not spinning slowly at all went from fast to "going airborne" First replaced the sensor and electric circuit board, that did not fix the problem. Before I sent back those parts, I instead decided to try replacing the motor. That was in fact what was broken, so I am sending back the board and sensor. This company made it so easy to buy the parts and when I had a question they were very helpful on the phone. Replacing the motor was so simple, all that you need is a screwdriver. Also need to remove and unplug the circuit board and the planetary gear cover. I can't live without my Kitchenaid mixer, so to replace the motor for under $70 was so much better than buying a whole new one for over $300!
