Michael S Phoenix , AZ April 15, 2016 Appliance: Model MAYTAG MAXIMA Front load washing machine leaking I noticed the rubber seal (bellow) was damaged near the bottom of the bellow. It looks like removing clothes from the machine had worn away and eventually ripped away some of the seal. This caused water to leak out the bottom of the door. I looked up the model number of my washer on the web and searched for the part number of the bellow. Once I found it I searched eBay, Amazon and a few other places for the part number and opted for Appliance Parts Pros. The part was reasonably priced and they offered overnight shipping. The part arrived the next day and it only took me about 1 hour to change out the part. I googled and found a few sites that went through the steps to replace the part. Washing machine is back up and running!! Read More... 51 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers
William C Houston , TX June 26, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Washer MHW6000XW2 The washer's inner gasket got caught up with the clothing resulting a tear causing water to leak out I ordered the gasket (perhaps called Bellow) from "ApplianePartsPros.com" and received it in 3 days and personally made the replacement. The whole of the job was not very difficult and was completed in approximately 40 minutes. I did prepare while the part was on order by removing the old "Bellows". Note: there is a Phillips screw on the inner most retention ring (top) which is easily accessed once identified. The job required two people for the installation of the outer (spring loaded) ring. Douglas B Olney , MD January 28, 2018 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer WFW94HEXW2 Washing machine discharge would stink up the whole house. No cleaners or vinegar would stop it from stinking. Replaced all rubber and plastic hoses coming into and exiting the washer discharge pump. They where gummed up with mold and slime. WOW it stopped all odor from discharge into the utility sink. This model required that the whole front of the washing machine be removed which was very intimidating, but after watching the video from Appliance Parts Pros it was easy, I also replaced discharge pump and the bellows since I had it apart anyway and it was 5 years old. Thank you Appliance Parts Pros I almost bought a new washer but your videos saved me $1500.
