Warren W Raleigh , NC January 04, 2017 Loud squeak I replaced the support rollers, idler pulley, and belt. The repair was fairly straight forward, except for getting the top of the console removed. After spending an hour trying to figure out how to interpret the instructions, I called them and was quickly given step by step guidance to get the part removed. From that point on the repair was very straight forward. The machine sounds just like new! Well worth the time and money to DIY. Scott G Kissimmee , FL January 19, 2018 Appliance: Maytag Electric Dryer MED6000XG0 Fan wheel damaged Took the whole dryer apart to access the wheels (4) of them, belt and fan wheel, also had to clean all the lint out that somehow builds up inside the dryer. Plus cleaned out dryer duct vent, added to the time involved. If you are planning on fixing the dryer because of a noise which was in my case, I highly recommend buy all the parts for complete maintenance mentioned above. What helped save me time? I watch a dryer fan wheel replacement training video first, highly recommend this! AppliancePartsPros.com was very helpful! Plus the price and fast shipping was also nice!
