The Bezel-Lid Lock is an OEM component for Whirlpool washing machines. It secures the outer door plastic cover in place during operation. 

Causes of a bad bezel-lid lock can include cracking or breakage from repeated opening and closing of the washer door over several years. Deformation from moisture exposure may also occur.

Symptoms of a bad bezel-lid lock include:

  • Looseness allowing the outer door panel to detach or come ajar  
  • Inability to fully latch or keep the door tightly sealed
  • Damaged lock area where the bezel cover sits  

Compatible with Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana, and some Kenmore laundry units.
