Description

The Whirlpool Lid Strike is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool top-load washing machines. Located at the top of the washer, the strike assembly securely holds the outer lid assembly in place. 

Causes of a bad strike assembly washer can include cracks or breaks from stresses and vibrations over time, worn-out fasteners loose from use, or damage from forced lid closures.

Symptoms of a bad strike assembly washer include:

• Loose, wobbly lids allowing items to fall inside during loading
