Joel C Shreveport , LA January 09, 2016 The door latch would not catch as a result i was unable to use my dishwasher I ordered the Door Switch Kit, along with a few other items. However, the switch kit was all that was needed. Isimply followed the instructions that came with the kit. It was necessary to cut the wires which connected to the wire assembly in the door of the dishwasher. I then connected the pieces from the switch kit and then connected the end pieces to the door. I closed the door, and started up the dishwasher. It worked as well as before. I was a little concered about not having instructions on the part installation but really it was pretty strait forward installation. Took about twenty minutes from start to finish. It truly was easy except loosening a couple of screws. The diagrams that the site provided were also very helpful in figuring what needed to be ordered. Jeffery M Colville , WA December 01, 2020 Door latch on dishwasher broke. I checked the AppliancePartsPros.com website to see if I could find the part. That was easy. And they had a great video on what to do (including the part on pressing out a couple of pins - I would never have figured that out). The latch broke on the Weds before Thanksgiving so I figured it may take a week or so to get the parts. Not so, even with basic shipping they arrive by that weekend.
