How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008234 / WP3380854 Latch Bolt

I ordered the latch bolt and it arrived promtly. I was a little concered about not having instructions on the part installation but really it was pretty strait forward installation. Took about twenty minutes from start to finish. 

I watched a very helpful and thorough video that your website provided. It truly was easy except loosening a couple of screws. The diagrams that the site provided were also very helpful in figuring what needed to be ordered. Thanks for your services...from a very satisfied customer! 

I checked the AppliancePartsPros.com website to see if I could find the part. That was easy. And they had a great video on what to do (including the part on pressing out a couple of pins - I would never have figured that out). The latch broke on the Weds before Thanksgiving so I figured it may take a week or so to get the parts. Not so, even with basic shipping they arrive by that weekend. Thanks to the video I had the new latch in and the dishwasher working in under 15 minutes. 

Watched youtube video ordered latch assembly. The replacement took 10 minutes. Working perfectly. 

Followed the instructions sent by your company. 

I change the latch bolt with a new one! It was a easy fix! 

Replace door latch. 

Ordered a new latch. 

Even while weak from recovering from Covid, I was able to watch the Appliance Parts Pros video and take my time to get it fixed because not having a dishwasher while sick is no fun. 

Replaced the latch bolt.
