Timothy P Edmonds , WA March 20, 2020 The bolt holding stator/rotor sheared off in shaft Removed the back cover. (Glad I used my power tool to remove all the screws) I then removed the sheared off part of the bolt using drill and easy-out tool. It was a straightforward install of the new bolt. I added a little bit of blue Loctite even though the bolt already had some dry thread sealer. I torqued it down enough to hold everything snug. I also replaced the cap on the water pump filter as I cracked it when I removed it. Tip: Don't use pliers even with a rag to cushion or be more careful than I did. The cap is a discontinued part but Appliance Parts Pros had one! I also ordered a new water pump but I didn't need it. Keeping it for future though as it was not an expensive part.
