Description

This radiant cartridge is the plug-in cooking surface used on Designer Line modular cooktops. It restores a smooth black surface and consistent, even heat when the original cartridge is damaged or no longer heating properly.

• Provides radiant heat beneath a smooth glass surface for everyday cooking tasks
• Self-contained plug-in module that seats in the cooktop bay and delivers heat to cookware
• Common symptoms prompting replacement: no heat, uneven or intermittent heat, or visible cracks/discoloration on the surface
• Restores normal heating performance when matched to a compatible modular cooktop

What's included: One black radiant cartridge assembly. Install notes:

• Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the cooktop to cool completely before servicing
• Lift out and unplug the old cartridge straight up; avoid prying on the glass surface
• Inspect and clean the receptacle; align and firmly seat the new cartridge until fully engaged
• Restore power and test heating at low and high settings using appropriate cookware
