This probably covers everything you need to know about taking apart and putting together this unit. Completely disassembled the washer and power washed the back of the basket around the spider. There was light corrosion on the spider. Cleaned the tub and installed new gasket. Replaced tub to pump hose and discharge hose. Replaced the bellow tub seal and installed new spring. Replaced dispenser to tub hose. Cleaned ventilation pipe and exhaust hose. Cleaned drain hose connector. Keith B Old Lyme , CT April 23, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer - Direct Drive GHW9100LQ1 Broken "spider" mount on stainless basket ruined outer drum Mfg supplied stainless basket (lifetime warranty). Alliance Parts Pro supplied the outer drum and expert video that allowed me to do the repair. This was almost a complete tear down of the washer and the video made it easy. It took me about 2 hours.
