Robert S Agoura , CA December 30, 2014 Front load washer leaking from door Followed your video instructions. It was invaluable. The toughest part was getting the seal on the back of the drum. Your technician made it look very easy. Once that was on, the rest was pretty easy. The control panel on my Whirlpool Duet washer had a holding screw at the bottom center of it. It wasn't shown in the video, but it was easy to figure out. If you are changing the boot, change the clamp as well. Eric J Williamsburg , MA January 08, 2022 My Maytag front load washer door bellow seal leaking. First of all, I had to diagnose where the puddle of water had come from. I took off the top panel, and the bottom panel under the front so I could check all hose connections. After finding all clamps and hoses in working order, I ran a test cycle with the panels off. Shortly into the cycle, I observed water dripping from the bottom of the washer door indicating a bad seal. I ordered the parts, received them within 4 days, and set about making the repair. It was pretty easy over all, the video tutorial was a big help, however, there was a discrepancy with taking off the control panel. The model in the tutorial had a screw holding the bottom of the control panel to the front panel, mine did not, it was a plastic spring tab instead. So, to remove the panel, I had to tilt the top of the panel forward to disengage the plastic tab. Not a big deal, just took a couple of minutes to figure out. It's all back together, working fine, no leak. Because the washer is 10ish years old, I opted to get new clamps for the bellow seal as well, a good thing. The spring clamp that holds the seal to the front panel was pretty stretched out, and may have caused issues had I re-used it. This is not my first time using ApplianceParts Pros, and I'm certain it won't be my last. The video tutorials are a big bonus for DIYers like me. Sonny S Stanley , NC November 15, 2019 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer WFW8300SW04 Leak at door seal I ordered my parts from appliance parts pro and received them the next day. Exceptional service. I followed the video showing the steps to remove and replace the door bellow seal. Now, the mechanical part of taking the screws out and removing the parts went well, but the bellow seal was a little different story. I contribute the problem to this being my first (and hopefully the last) time doing this, so it was all new to me. After I got over my initial shock of completely disassembling my washing machine, I went to work on replacing the part. Everything is pretty straight forward, but getting the seal on the two lips proved taxing. My fear was that we would get it all assembled and find that I hadn't gotten the seal on properly and have a leak. But with due diligence, everything went as shown and now completely repaired. The people at appliance parts pro are amazing in their speed and accuracy in getting me my parts, to the helpfulness when I called for some guidance. I highly recommend this company and its people-friendly staff. Short of them coming out and installing the part for me, they did everything I could have hoped for to resolve this problem. Any problems in the future with my appliances; you can be sure I'll be back here to solve them!
