Tim G Cambria , CA November 15, 2023 Wash cycle stopped after fill cycle. All of the repairs were incredibly easy, however the experience might be different for everyone. My skills and background experience make troubleshooting and repairing fairly easy for me. I began the journey by troubleshooting out some of the peripherals such as the float mechanism and door latch switch by using a multimeter to ohm them out. I then moved towards the thermostat and turbinator. I measured the resistance on the thermostat and it seemed to be fine. I then cleaned the turbinator thinking debris or film might be causing interference with the sensor. I decided to replace both just to be sure. Next I measured the resistance on the heating element and it was within tolerance but also replaced it hoping for more longevity for the life of the appliance. I inspected the control board and found that the molex connector was blackened around the 120 v neutral and positive wires coming from the J-box at the base of the unit. I realized then that the control board must have shorted or failed to some degree and replaced that as well. A happy ending to this story is that the dishwasher is back up and running great.
