Michael J Bakersfield , CA September 09, 2014 Maytag refrigerator had flashing lights and the ice maker door repeatedly flapping First I googled my model number and found out others had this problem. I was quickly able to find out the cause of the problem. After calling maytag they informed me of a $85.00 appointment fee that didn't include parts or labor. I decided to repair it myself! I ordered the part from appliancepartspros.com and in 2 days the part was on my front porch! I turned to YouTube to watch the video once more on how to install the part. It took two tools and 15 -20 minutes and was very simple. My guess is this would have bed over $600.00 for a repair company and I was able to do it for $250.00. Appliancepartspros.com was the best price I could find after googling the part number. Martin M Cape Coral , FL October 18, 2014 High voltage control board The touchpad on my Maytag refrigerator was going nuts flashing and buzzing. Also, the ice dispenser door was opening and closing at will. I researched the issue on the internet and on the AppliancePartsPro.com website and others were describing the same issue. The recommended replacement part by AppliancePartsPro.com tech was the High Voltage Control Board. I ordered the part from them and is arrived sooner than promised which was great. It took me less than 10 minutes to replace the board in the back of the unit. After following the reprograming instructions that were included, the refrigerator was back to normal. The ice maker is working and the freezer is also working properly. This is the second time I order refrigerator parts from AppliancePartsPro.com, The first time was for the touchpad in the front. Both times I was successful making the repairs with the assistance of their techs. I am completely satisfied with AppliancePartsPro.com and will continue to order parts from them, although if I never have to repair my other appliances that would be good too! Thank you AppliancePartsPro.com. Read More... 55 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers
