Whirlpool WPW10525358 Washer Electronic Control Board OEM Part

Trouble shooting using the owners manual the error code says the ECB needed to be replaced. So ordered the ECB and put it in. Then the washer works normal again. The ECB is right under the cover so very easy to get to.

I had to order both parts to figure what the problem was since no codes for trouble shooting were applicable. I began by turning off both water supplies and unplugging the unit. Next, I needed to remove the top cover of the front loading Maytag Epic Z washer. Then disconnected each of the electronic plugs that connected to the old CCU board and using a hex head driver, I needed to remove the electronic interface. Once removed and the new parts arrived, I reconnected all of the parts, in reverse order. Replaced all of the screws and replaced the top lid. I then turned the water supply on and plugged in the unit. I then tested the unit be pressing multiple buttons and cycles. Finally, I filled the reservoirs with washing liquids and set a load to wash.
