Stephen S North Kingstown , RI July 28, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDS30IVSS3 Kitchen aid dishwasher control panel lights flashing and machine not operating I read online and the info that came with the dishwasher to conclude that the control panel probably shorted out. I had bought a 5 year extended warranty but it ran out 4 months prior. I contacted the local appliance store where I bought the dishwasher to find out how much the control panel and instillation would be. The appliance store stated the control panel with tax and shipping would be around $200 and the labor would be $145; thus the total to replace the control panel would be $345. So I decided to do it myself. I am not handy and was not 100% sure that replacing the control panel would solve the problem, however, Appliance Parts Pro has a good return policy and if it didn't solve my problem I could return the control panel and have the appliance store technician come out. Thus, I bought the control panel from APP for $140 (shipping $6.95) and it took me about 5-10 minutes to install (It did take about an hour or so to read online and diagnose the problem). The dishwsher works and I saved about $200. Read More... 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Socket Set
