Steven D Russellville , AR June 16, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDI02IRBS1 Kitchenaid dishwasher operating erratically not finishing wash cycle random key and led operation First I took off the controller board and cleaned all of the electrical contacts. This resulted in the dishwasher working once or twice. After doing this a couple times, I replaced the controller board. The new controller board worked a couple cycles and then the dishwasher went back to acting as it did previously. I checked the door switch and the heating element. They were both good so I ordered the keypad unit from AppliancePartsPros.com. I ordered the part Thursday afternoon and got it two days later on Saturday morning--and that was for a very reasonable shipping charge of just $6.95. I replaced the keypad in about 15 minutes and the dishwasher has been operating normally since then. Here are a list of symptoms caused by the defective keypad: Multiple leds on at same time, eg. Start and Cancel. Some leds just barely visible. Keypad apparently dead but coming back to life after cleaning contacts on controller board (this also involved killing power to unit.) Keypad dead except for Cancel and 4 Hour Delay. Turn 4HD on, then all other keys worked fine. Set up cycle with 4HD on, turn off 4HD, then cycle would attempt to run. Wash cycles starting fine but terminating prematurely, leaving water in tub. Washer running for 3 hours and not completing cycle. Hope this helps.
