He then told me that I would need to go on line to get the parts for the repair and installed them myself, in which I did. The repair was done according to the Appliance parts you tube directions. Considering I did not know what was wrong with the frig, I guess the $85 dollar service call was necessary. Nancy B Southlake , TX August 16, 2015 Broken ice crusher in fridge I purchased the two parts from the website, watched the installation video a couple times while repairing it and it was a breeze. I cannot believe I have waited a year with a terrible ice crusher thinking it would just be a loss. No home warranties cover ice machines and the labor is high to have it repaired. I even looked into buying a portable ice machine to set on the counter thinking it was my only resort to having ice. I tried Amazon, Sears and Amana websites but found what I was looking for once I was redirected to ApplianceParts Pros.com. Love the simple instruction video!!!!
