Description

This snap-action door switch is a small interlock microswitch that detects when the door is opened or closed. Replacing a worn switch restores proper start/stop control and interior light behavior so the appliance only runs with the door fully shut.

• Senses door position and signals the control to allow or interrupt operation
• Helps control interior light and other door-dependent functions
• Common symptoms include: won't start with door closed, must press/hold door to run, or "door/close door" message
• May also present as an interior light that stays on or won't turn on
