Description
This drain impeller assembly circulates and ejects wash water through the washer's drain pump, restoring proper drainage and helping prevent standing water after a cycle. Durable design fits into the pump housing for reliable performance. What it does:
- Presses water through the pump housing to enable normal draining during drain/spin cycles
- Replaces worn or damaged impeller vanes that can cause slow or no draining
- Helps reduce noise and vibration from an imbalanced or broken impeller
- Restores proper water flow when the pump motor runs but little or no water is expelled
What's included: One drain impeller assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and water supply before starting any repair
- Access requires removing the washer cabinet or pump housing depending on model
- Inspect pump housing and sealing surfaces for damage or debris before installing the new impeller
- Use common hand tools; tighten fasteners to OEM torque specs where provided
