- Provides cooking heat for a 6-inch burner position on electric ranges/cooktops
- Helps resolve a burner that won't heat or heats intermittently
- Addresses uneven heating or visible hot spots on the coil
- Replaces elements with visible breaks, blistering, or burned terminals
What's included: One 6-inch surface coil element. Installation notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the cooktop to cool completely before servicing
- For plug-in coil models: lift the element, pull straight out of the receptacle, and remove from the support/drip pan
- Align the new element's terminals with the receptacle, push firmly until fully seated, and set into the support
- Inspect the receptacle and wiring for heat damage and replace any compromised components before use
