Turn power to stove off on breaker box. Remove two screws holding range top and lift up disconnect non functioning element and replace new one. Secure range top and turn power back on. Test stove for proper functioning and avoid the expensive service bill. Went on YouTube to see how to remove and put back the range top, and the burner. The installation of the burner was rather easy and quick., but our range top was difficult to realign the pins to lock it in.
