Description

The Broil Element is an OEM part for Whirlpool wall ovens and ranges. This heating element is responsible for the broiling function of the oven.

Located at the top of the oven cavity, the broil element functions by directing intense radiant heat downward to cook and brown food from above. 

Causes may include natural wear and damage over prolonged high-heat use. Electrical malfunctions inside the element can also cause premature failure. 

Symptoms of a bad broil element include:
