Said B Austin , TX August 03, 2015 Appliance: Model W10335920 My toddler broke the inner glass of my oven All I had to do is take off 4 screws from the top panel that holds the glass. 2 of the 4 are at the inner front of panel of the door and remaining 2 are on either side. Once that panel is removed you place the small 4 brackets on each hole then pop the glass in then put the black panel in then screw back all 4 screws and you start cooking Tango chicken. Richard S Tega Cay , SC January 05, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid 30`` Built-In Electric Single Oven Convection KEBS109BSS00 Inner oven glass door chipped Replaced glass. Only 4 easy to reach screws required removal. When glass is removed, oven door will want to close because of the weight of the glass being removed. Tip: Flip up hinge latches as though going to remove door. This keeps the door open far enough to install the new glass with no assistance. Jessica R Mt. Ulla , NC December 27, 2014 Broken oven glass We had an extended warranty through Lowes and after almost two months of waiting for the part to arrive and many fruitless hours of my life on the phone with "customer service," I took matters into my on hands. I ordered this item two days before Christmas and selected next day arrival. The part arrived on time, undamaged, and, best of all, it was the correct part! AppliancePartsPros helped us have a Merry Christmas, and our ham was delicious in our now working oven! Rich B Lake Oswego , OR September 10, 2021 Appliance: KitchenAid Microwave KEMS309BSP01 Broken inside glass panel. Broke when I slammed the door shut after a broiler fire, last October. Finally got the part delivered, almost 11 months without the main oven. (Damn Covid!) Had to remove the oven door, flipping back a U-shaped clip on each bottom hinge. The door is heavier than you'd expect. Two Phillips screws on the face and two on the sides were removed and the top bracket lifted off, glass replaced, shiny side up, (inside), slid into lower "V"s. Re-attach bracket with the four screws. Easy-peasy. A thorough cleaning of the inside glass panels is recommended before assembly. There is a video that shows how to do this with a British bloke, who speaks very rapidly in a strong accent. I couldn't understand a word. Not tough, though. Read More...
