Description

This orifice holder mounts beneath a gas burner and channels gas from the valve through the orifice to the burner head. Replacing a damaged holder helps restore consistent ignition, stable flame, and a secure burner fit.

• Directs gas flow from the control valve through the orifice jet into the burner
• Provides a solid mounting point for the burner head and orifice spud
• Helps maintain correct burner alignment for consistent flame quality
• Common symptoms: hard-to-light burner, uneven or weak flame, burner head not seating securely, stripped threads or visible cracks on the holder

What's included: 1 orifice holder. Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off the gas supply; allow the appliance to cool before servicing
• Remove the burner cap and head; access the holder from below or by lifting the cooktop, depending on model
• Transfer the existing orifice spud and mounting hardware to the new holder; use thread sealant only if specified by the manufacturer
• After reassembly, restore gas and check all joints for leaks with an approved leak-detection solution; verify burner operation
