- Provides a heat-resistant seal around a large cooktop burner to help protect internal components.
- Helps reduce burner wobble and keeps the burner assembly properly seated.
- Limits spills and food debris from falling under the cooktop, simplifying cleanup.
- Can reduce heat and steam exposure to adjacent parts that may cause premature wear.
What's included: One large fiberglass burner gasket. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and allow the cooktop to cool fully before attempting service.
- Remove the burner and old gasket per the range manufacturer's instructions; clean mating surfaces before installing the new gasket.
- Press the gasket into place so it sits evenly around the burner opening; avoid stretching or twisting the gasket.
