Whirlpool W10830162 Gasket-Fip (Gry) OEM Part

I bought new gaskets, which were expensive! At least the repair was easy. Pulled out the old ones, pressed in the new ones. Had to redo them because I didn't notice the little flaps that need to be covering the space in the middle, between the doors. So, pulled them off, and turned them around, and pressed them on again. Maybe 10 minutes?

Ordered replacement door seals, assistance picking the seals and speed of shipping was excellent. The installation was about as easy a job as can be, remove old seals, clean the doors and press in the new seals. With that said, I don't believe these are the same quality as factory original seals, the doors do not close as positive as the original and I have an air leak in the freezer door seal allowing condensation and ice to form.

Made door opening cover out of foil-faced bubble wrap. Opened the door and installed an opening cover with painters tape. Removed old gasket, just pulls free toward the center of the door. New gasket installs easy. Visual shows improper seating. Press with fingers all around to be sure. Remove the door opening cover and do the outer door. The refrigerator only lost 2 degrees for both doors!

Watched the video and replaced them, No problem. Ordered the correct gaskets and they fit perfectly. I laid them out flat and warmed them up with my wife's hair dryer. let them sit overnight, then warm them in the sun the next day, prior to installation. Removed old gaskets easily, cleaned all surfaces, and ind. The refrigerator ran down to temp and shut off for the first time in a while. Shut off most of the day now. Must have a good airtight seal. Good investment instead of buying a new fridge...... Thanks APP!

We ordered new gaskets with the customer rep and she made sure we got the correct gaskets for our French door refrigerator. She pointed out that there is a slight difference in size. We watched the tutorial and the repair was simple and quick!
