Allison O Sussex , NJ June 29, 2019 Appliance: Model AP6038601 Refrigerator door gaskets were cracked and moldy I bought new gaskets, which were expensive! At least the repair was easy. Pulled out the old ones, pressed in the new ones. Had to redo them because I didn't notice the little flaps that need to be covering the space in the middle, between the doors. So, pulled them off, and turned them around, and pressed them on again. Maybe 10 minutes? Ralph A Sanford , FL July 31, 2017 Damaged refrigerator door seals. Ordered replacement door seals, assistance picking the seals and speed of shipping was excellent. The installation was about as easy a job as can be, remove old seals, clean the doors and press in the new seals. With that said, I don't believe these are the same quality as factory original seals, the doors do not close as positive as the original and I have an air leak in the freezer door seal allowing condensation and ice to form. Dana E San Marcos , CA November 10, 2023 Appliance: KitchenAid Refrigerator KBFS22EWMS4 Old gaskets. Watched the video and replaced them, No problem. Ordered the correct gaskets and they fit perfectly. I laid them out flat and warmed them up with my wife's hair dryer. let them sit overnight, then warm them in the sun the next day, prior to installation. Removed old gaskets easily, cleaned all surfaces, and ind. The refrigerator ran down to temp and shut off for the first time in a while. Shut off most of the day now. Must have a good airtight seal. Good investment instead of buying a new fridge...... Thanks APP! Read More... 5 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Socket Set
