Whirlpool W11086603 Dryer Lint Screen Grille OEM Part

This was actually one of the easiest fixes I’ve done. All that was required was to remove 3 screws to remove the broken part. I used a pair of pliers to remove the moisture sensors from the broken part to the new one.

There are 4 screws holding it in place it was only a matter of removing the screws to take the old one off and placing the new one with the same 4 screws.

1. I went online to find the parts. Found them at appliance parts pros very quickly and easily. The website displayed the internal workings of the dryer, all parts, what goes where, etc. Then I viewed the installation videos that were provided. Very helpful. I then ordered the parts I needed. Delivered within 5 calendar days. Checked on-line video again for installation tips. Removed the broken parts and installed the new ones. Easy. Quick. Very satisfying. Job well done if I say so myself.

Take out 3 screws holding the screen grille. Make sure you have a big clip to hold the 2 sensor wires so they do not fall out of the little hole or else you have to take out the front side of the dryer.

Ordered this part for more than half the price as other websites and fixed it within minutes.
